Obuchi joined Hakuhodo in 2015 and, following a stint in the Public Relations Strategy Division transferred to Hakuhodo kettle in 2019. In an age where individual voices can change the world, he seeks to improve society a little through PR and social media and through this, draw people to brands. It is this that he wants from his projects. At the Young Lions Competitions, he represented Japan and won Gold in the Media category in 2017, and in won Bronze in the PR category and was a finalist in the Design category in 2018. He has also won awards at ACC Tokyo Creativity Awards, ADFEST, Sales Promotion Competition, Metro Ad Creative Award, and more.
